MsGraph provides a clean way of working with a user's emails.

To work with emails first call **->emails()** followed by a method.

```php
MsGraph::emails();
```

## List Emails

Return a list of emails

If no options are set emails are loaded from the inbox folder.

```php
MsGraph::emails()->get($folderIdOrName = 'Inbox', $params = []);
```

By default, only 25 emails are returned this can be changed by either using GET requests or pass an array of option to get()

Option 1: GET Request

Adding **top=50** to the URL will return 50 emails, to skip the starting point use skip=2 to start from the 2nd set. These can be used together:

```php
?top=50&skip=2
```

Option 2: Array

The default array that is used internally is below, you can override these options by passing an array to the ->get() method.

```php
[
    '$orderby' => "displayName",
    '$top' => $top,
    '$skip' => $skip,
    '$count' => "true",
]
```

This would look like this:

```php
MsGraph::emails()->get('Inbox', [
    '$orderby' => "displayName",
    '$top' => 15,
    '$skip' => 0,
    '$count' => "true",
]);
```

The response returned is an array in this format:

The **@odata.nextLink** is the link for the next set of data that can be used directly or make use of the top and skip that are returned.

## Read Email

To view an email call **->find($id)** followed by the id of the email.

```php
MsGraph::emails()->find($id);
```

> From version v4.0.6, mark email as read when viewing it.

```php
MsGraph::emails()->find($id, bool $markAsRead = false);
```

Retrieve the emails using singleValueExtendedProperties.

```php
MsGraph::emails()->get([
  '\$filter' => 'singleValueExtendedProperties/Any(ep: ep/id eq \'String {00020329-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} Name CustomProperty\' and ep/value eq \'CustomValue\')'
]);
```

## Get Email Attachments

Get email attachments
```php
MsGraph::emails()->findAttachment($id);
```

## Get Email Attachment

Get email attachment by its id
```php
MsGraph::emails()->findAttachment($id, $attachmentId);
```

## Mark email as read

```php
MsGraph::emails()->markAsRead($id);
```

## Mark email as unread

```php
MsGraph::emails()->markAsUnread($id);
```

## Send Email

To send an email the format is different to normal calls. The format is to call multiple methods to set the email properties.

Required methods are: **to**(array) **subject**(string) **body**(string/markup) **send()**

Note these methods expect an array to be passed:

```php
to(['email@domains.com'])
cc(['email@domains.com'])
bcc(['email@domains.com'])
attachments(['path/to/file'])
```

Example:

```php
MsGraph::emails()
->to(['email@domains.com'])
->subject('the subject')
->body('the content')
->send()
```

**cc()** and bcc and attachments are optional.

To send attachments pass an array of files paths

```php
MsGraph::emails()
->to(['email@domains.com'])
->subject('the subject')
->body('the content')
->attachments([public_path('images/logo')])
->send()
```

singleValueExtendedProperties() can be used to add custom properties to the email.

```php
MsGraph::emails()
->to(['email@domains.com'])
->subject('the subject')
->body('the content')
->singleValueExtendedProperties([
    [
        "id" => "String {00020329-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} Name CustomProperty",
        "value" => "CustomValue"
    ]
])
->send()
```

## Forward Email

To forward to an email call **->forward()** and use **->comment()** instead of **->body()**.

```php
MsGraph::emails()
->id($id)
->to(['email@domains.com'])
->subject('the subject')
->comment('the reply content')
->forward()
```

## Reply Email

To reply to an email call **->reply()** and use **->comment()** instead of **->body()**.

```php
MsGraph::emails()
->id($id)
->to(['email@domains.com'])
->subject('the subject')
->comment('the reply content')
->reply()
```

## Delete Email

To delete an email call **->delete($id)** followed by the id of the email.

```php
MsGraph::emails()->delete($id);
```

# Email Folders

## Get folders

By default, folders are not sorted, change to true to sort folders into a custom list specified in priorityOrder

This is the default order when none specified.

```php
$priorityOrder = [
    'Inbox' => 1,
    'Archive' => 2,
    'Drafts' => 3,
    'Sent Items' => 4,
    'Deleted Items' => 5,
    'Conversation History' => 6,
    'Junk Email' => 7,
];

MsGraph::emails()->folders()->get(array $params = [], bool $sort = false, array $priorityOrder = [])
```

## Get folder

```php
MsGraph::emails()->folders()->find($id)
```

## Get folder by name

```php
MsGraph::emails()->folders()->findByName($name)
```

## Create folder

```php

$data = [
    'displayName' => 'Test Folder',
    'isHidden' => false
];

MsGraph::emails()->folders()->store($data)
```

## Update folder

```php

$data = [
    'displayName' => 'Test Folder',
    'isHidden' => false
];

MsGraph::emails()->folders()->update($data, $id)
```

## Copy folder

```php
MsGraph::emails()->folders()->copy($sourceId, $destinationId)
```

## Move folder

```php
MsGraph::emails()->folders()->move($sourceId, $destinationId)
```

## Delete folder

```php
MsGraph::emails()->folders()->delete($id)
```
